ABOUT ME

I studied photography at Yıldız Technical University in, Istanbul, Turkey between 2002 and 2005 while working as an assistant photographer at a private photography studio. 

 

Upon graduating in 2005, I joined an Istanbul based publisher, Om Medya at 2005 where my photographs were published in magazines covering a broad ranges of topics including design and architecture (ICON), business and markets news (Turkish Time), shopping and fashion (ALL). 

 

The next stop from 2009 to 2014 was as a photographer in Markafoni studios, shortly after it was established as the first online- shopping website in Turkey. Having gained experience in a variety of settings I transitioned to a freelance photographer in 2014.  

 

As a freelancer, I’ve collaborated with industry leading brands such as Mavi Jeans, Zen Diamond, Flo, Roman and Damat, photographed delicate antiques for auctions, assisted artists with their portfolios, created exhibition posters and digitised art pieces for online galleries. My professional experiences thus span a wide range of materials - diamonds, wooden pieces, glass, ceramics, fashion industry products, and environments - still life and with models in indoor studios or outdoor environments.
